SILKIE BANTAMS
Silkie Bantams are friendly natured, and great mums, with fantastic hairstyles.
The Silkie is a breed of chicken named for its a typically fluffy plumage, which is said to feel like silk and satin.
Silkies are also known for their calm, friendly temperament.
WELSUMMER BANTAM
The Welsummer is a large, upright, active bird with a broad back, full breast and large full tail. They head has a single comb, medium wattles, almond shaped ear lobes and a strong, short beak. They have yellow legs which fade to pale yellow in summer and reddish bay eyes.

Welsummers lay lovely large eggs and the dark brown pigment can actually be rubbed off as it is added at the end of the egg laying sequence.
DUTCH BANTAM
The Dutch bantam are upright little birds with short backs, and a high full breast.
Egg production is limited to the summer months and eggs take only 20 days to hatch instead of the usual 21 days for other breeds. They are good layers, good sitters, and good broodies. Because of their small size, Dutch females are only capable of covering a small clutch of eggs. these for longer than the usual 8 weeks and also require shallow drinkers to prevent them from drowning if they happen to fall in. Dutch bantams are jaunty little birds and need to be protected from the winter weather. They also need good fencing as they are good fliers.
CALL DUCKS
The Call duck is a lively, charming little bird with a small body and short bill. The name originates from the Dutch word \'kooi\' meaning trap. They have a high-pitched call which carries over a long distance. The ducks were used by hunters to attract wild ducks towards traps or shooters. The tame ducks were tethered at the entrance of the traps and the more 'calling' the ducks did the better.
